Mission Objective: To add some Mandalorian flair to the Tamaqua High School Mini-THON fundraiser.

Invasion Report: In the small northern town of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, the local high school held its second annual mini-THON fundraiser for pediatric cancer patients. This fundraiser is modeled after the famous Penn State THON. The mini-dance-a-thon, held in the gymnasium, lobby, and pool, consisted of dancing, DJ music, bands, a co-ed teacher vs. students basketball tournament, large inflatables, moon-bounce, dunk tank, body paint, food, and Star Wars guests from the Mandalorian Mercs, Rebel Legion, and 501st Legion.

Mav Oya’la Clan, along with members of the Rebel Legion’s Echo Base and the 501st Legion’s Garrison Carida mingled with the crowds, posed for pictures, and showed off some great prop helmets and weaponry. The troop was a great success in entertaining the crowds and helping the mini-THON to raise over $4,000 for “Camp Can Do”, a camp for pediatric cancer patients.
