Mercs "Star Wars Day at Millersberg Library" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To assist the library staff with promoting reading in local youth through a Star Wars extravaganza!

Invasion Report: What started out looking like a normal library event ended up being quite a landmark troop for Rancor Clan and the other Star Wars Costuming Clubs in Ohio! Millersberg is in a rural part of the state and is kind of a void of a lot of costuming events. For the first time in the state, members from the Mercs, Rebel Legion Great Lakes Base, Dark Empire , and 501st Ohio Garrison made it to an event to troop together. It was a great time - the costumers had as much fun as the participants competing with the kids in lightsaber duels on the gaming systems, dodging darts at a shoot a trooper/shoot a merc stage, and helping with the craft tables where kids and parents built lightsabers and droids. The Holmes County District Public Library staff was great to work with and have a great library.

Rancor Clan often works with our cousin costuming groups, but it was really great to be able to get all four groups together at an event and the clan looks forward to invading many places with them in the future!
