Mercs "Star Wars Celebration Europe 2" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To raise awareness of the Mercs in Europe, to rise funds for charity, to entertain and inform the general public, and to look awesome!

Invasion Report: Members of the Mercs from across Europe came together in Essen, Germany for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2. At the start of the con we were 30 strangers from 4 clans, but at the end we left as one family. Over the event we raised 1703 Euros which was donated to the Orange Gunner though a raffle for some helmets, Gentle Giant statues, Legos, and Her Universe Tees.

The event was a great success and the awareness and profile of the Mercs in Europe was raised with other costume groups and the public at large. The Mercs has had many new members from across Europe join (many from countries that have no official chapter yet).
