Mercs "Portcon Maine 2013" Invasion Debriefing

Clan Involved: Wampa Clan
Mission Objective: To enrich the lives of Maine and New England residents by gracing them with the presence of the MMCC's own Wampa Clan, spreading the word of costuming, Mandalorian lore, and Star Wars.

Invasion Report:The start of summer was made official by the annual invasion by Wampa Clan of the geek-centric convention known as Portcon. With approximately 2500 guests in attendance over the four day event, Wampa helped mark the most successful Portcon to date. Seven official members were in attendance including Kyram Sorenn, who received his kill stripes as the curtain went up at the con. Wampa was also joined by two prospective members, Suna, and Viradechtis, who are both near completion of their armor.

During the festivities Wampa Clan held a raffle and hosted a "Shoot a Merc" fundraiser to support LWI, and raised a total of $80.00. Wampa also hosted a panel that focused on armor building and the road to becoming a Merc. In all the Mercs were well received, and once again the directors of Portcon proved themselves to be hosts of the highest caliber. Wampa is already anticipating attending in 2014.
