Mercs "Planet Comicon" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Planet Comicon" - Kansas City, MO (USA)

Clans Involved: Yustapir Clan and Vhett Manda Clan
Mission Objective: Spreading the joy of Star Wars to the masses.

Invasion Report: This year's Planet Comicon was a resounding success for all involved. This was a new location in the downtown area of Kansas City, at a bigger facility, and hosted a significantly bigger attendance. The Mandalorian Mercs worked along side the 501st, Rebel Legion, The Dark Empire, and the R2 Builders, creating a four-sided Star Wars cosplay area close to the entrance of the event, having tables for each group and three backdrops that costumers posed in front of throughout the two day event.

Saturday evening, members of all the local costuming groups gathered for a large dinner bash at a nearby banquet room, that included Peter & Angie Mayhew, and Tom & Sami Kane and the rest of his family, and some other convention celebrities for a lively and fun dinner and social time.

Also during the event, the Star Wars costuming groups earned a total of $1,024 for the Peter Mayhew Foundation.
