Mercs "Peoria Chiefs Star Wars Night" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To promote the Mercs and to further the relationship with The Chiefs and the Children's Hospital with the Star Wars costuming organizations.

Invasion Report: Members of Nexu Clan, alongside members of the 501st Legion Midwest Garrison and Rebel Legion Nar Shaada Base, invaded the Peoria Chiefs annual Star Wars night. This is an annual event for the Midwest Garrison and Nexu Clan but this year was especially important as representatives from the local Children's Hospital were in attendance to gauge the presence of the Star Wars costumers and their interaction with the fans.

As the Mercs and Imperials swarmed the entrance to the baseball stadium, greeting fans and taking pictures, the baseball club played the score of Star Wars over the loud speakers. Darth Vader threw out the ceremonial first pitch and the Mercs participated in skits between innings that included running out onto the field and apprehending a bounty on the Peoria Chiefs mascot, Slugger, (which the pesky rebels thwarted) and dancing during the 7th inning stretch.
