Mercs "Pekin Marigold Fest" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To promote the Mandalorian Mercs, and march in annual parade with special guests Tom Kane and Danie Logan.

Invasion Report: Members of Nexu Clan, alongside an outstanding showing from the 501st Midwest Garrison, marched in the annual Pekin Merigold Festival parade this year, and joined in the festivities after the parade, including an "Art in the Park". The Pekin Chamber of Commerce met with the Nexu Clan leadership and informed them that they wanted to theme the entire festival around Star Wars, with the tagline "May the Marigolds be with you". Nexu Clan leadership helped the Pekin Chamber of Commerce get two very special guests for the festival, Tom Kane and Daniel Logan.

During the parade, one very lucky verd'ika of Nixx Kallos got to ride in the Porsche with Daniel Logan, with Nexu Clan marched behind the vehicle. Afterwards, Tom and Daniel signed autographs. The next day of the festival began with a wedding proposal that the costumers and Tom Kane helped with, followed by a Q&A session with Tom and Daniel. During this Q&A, Daniel was presented with the Nexu Clan "Gai Bal Manda" award, which was all broadcasted on Rebel Force Radio by host, Jimmy Mac. Afterwards, Tom and Daniel once again stepped out to their tents to sign autographs, while the Mercs posed for pictures with attendees of the festival. To date, this was the most successful Marigold Fest.
