Mercs "Ohio Comic Con" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Wizard World Ohio Comic Con" - Columbus, OH (USA)
Date: September 20-22, 2013
Clans Involved: Rancor Clan with support from Suumpir'ade Clan
Mission Objective: To create interest in the MMCC, strengthen ties with the other costuming clubs, and raise money for LWI.

Invasion Report: Rancor Clan took over the Greater Columbus Convention Center during Ohio Comic Con. Members came in numbers to support the club and clan this year. Rancor Clan ran a raffle for some awesome Star Wars gear while collecting donations for Little Warriors. Throughout the weekend, costumed members were available for questions and photos. Members from the Cincinnati area were able to bring up the full scale speeder bike that was made as a joint effort by members of the Ohio Garrison and Great Lakes Base. This was a big hit and everyone seemed to be very impressed with the work that was put into the bike.

Quite a few new contacts were made throughout the weekend with new forum members having joined from Ohio and surrounding states since the convention! Ohio Comic Con is typically the "big event" for Rancor Clan and this year was no different. Thanks to all the members - official and otherwise - that came out to make this a great time!
