Mercs "Ohayocon 2013" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Ohayocon 2013" - Columbus, OH (USA)
Date: January 19, 2013
Clan Involved: Rancor Clan
Mission Objective: To introduce other costumers to the world of Star Wars costuming, specifically the MMCC, and the ability to make custom costumes.

Invasion Report: Rancor Clan again descended on the Nationwide Convention Center for Ohayocon. Ohayocon is traditionally an anime con, but costumes from any and all genres attend. The Clan got to meet some new costumers, spend time with some forum members working on kits, and promote the club.

Ohayocon is one of the more relaxed events the Mercs do each year and it is great to hang out, talk trade, and laugh with fellow members. High points this year included a "bounty" on photo bombing the clan Ver'alor, RHSC and RHSC putting on a full sized banana costume later in the evening... but that's a story for another time... several contacts were made with new costumers interested in the Mercs and the opportunity to troop and help out at several other conventions as well.
