Mercs "Niles Relay for Life" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Niles Relay For Life" - Niles, OH (USA)

Clan Involved: Rancor Clan
Mission Objective: To assist a Star Wars themed Relay team during opening ceremonies.

Invasion Report: Members of Rancor Clan met up with friends from Rebel Legion Great Lakes Base and the 501st Ohio Garrison to assist the Niles Relay for Life team Sweet Things which happened to have a very awesome Star Wars theme this year. Club members were met by several of the team members dressed in costume and their campsite was completely rocking in Star Wars. Costumers were on hand to help with the introduction lap and opening ceremonies.

The Sweet Things raised quite a bit of money before the event, then continued to raise money all night by selling hand made Star Wars merchandise like Han Solo in Chocolate, R2D2 and Yoda Rice Krispy treats, and other fun stuff. There was also a "Destroy the Death Star" contest later in the evening using a home made Death Star that was rigged with a sensor that would shoot lights all over when it was tagged by a laser gun! Costumers had a lot of fun getting out and meeting some new folks and helping the team with their relay.
