Mercs "Mr. Beery's the Art of Wars" Invasion Debriefing

Clan involved: Buurenaar Verda Clan
Mission Objective: To promote the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club with the 501st at a local bar featuring a local artist promoting Star Wars art.

Three OM's of the Buurenaar Verda Clan trooped the Art of War event, Misha Nell and Jamie Patterson as well as Laurie Ford. The fourth Merc, Raltharian Jade was also present as acting command staff (501st) and event coordinator, but was not in kit. The owner of Mr. Beery's transforms his bar into a Star Wars art gallery once a year to have local artists bring in and showcase their Star Wars artwork. This was the third year he has held this event and the community shows up in great support of this event. The names of all the beers are changed to Star Wars Universe names and the Mercs mingle in with the crowd and patrol the grounds. Many children were in attendance as this is a family friendly event. We suited up in tents out back and invaded the bar to the theme music of the Star Wars movies and entertained and brought smiles to everyone who saw us. This was a joint invasion with the 501st and the Rebel Legion.
