Mercs "McLean County Relay For Life" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Relay For Life" - Normal, IL
Date: June 21-22, 2013
Clan Involved: Nexu Clan
Mission Objective: To support the American Cancer Research Society in their annual McLean County Relay for Life.

Invasion Report: Members of Nexu Clan joined the Midwest Garrisons "Imperial Walkers" relay team for the annual Relay For Life this year. What started as a very hot event, turned into a very wet one, with the Clan and Garrison members having to hold down the awning and tents to keep them from blowing away.

Once the weather started cooperating and clouds cleared, it turned into a very nice day. The Mercs spent 24 hours on site, along side their Imperial counterparts, and helped raise over $8,500 for the American Cancer Research Society. A great time was had by all, many pictures were taken, and fiends were made. Nexu Clan is already looking forward to next year's Relay For Life.
