    Invasion Location: ManaCon 2013 – Bradenton, FL. USA
    Date: October 5th, 2013
    Clan Involved: Buurenaar Verda Clan
    Mission Objective: to share the Star Wars universe with teens at a special teen-oriented comic book convention.

    Invasion Report: Members of the Buurenaar Verda Clan invaded the Manatee County Central Library in Bradenton, Florida to share the wonderful world of Star Wars with the teenage attendees of the 2013 ManaCon Convention. The Mercs were on hand to patrol the convention, judge the cosplay contest, pose for lots of photos, and even participated in dancing at the end of the day. Over 1,000 people attended this event and were treated to the presence of the Mercs, members of the Tampa Bay Squad of the 501st, and the Jedi Knights of Ra Kura Base's Stormfront Temple. Many younglings were inspired to create new and exciting costumes on this day!
