Mercs "Joliet Library Star Wars Day" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To participate in the largest gathering of Star Wars costumers in Illinois, and garner interest in the Mandalorian Mercs.

Invasion Report: Members of Nexu Clan, 85 members of 5 different garrisons of the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, Dark Empire and R2 Builders descended upon Joliet Illinois for their 4th Annual Star Wars day at the public library and museum. The Mercs kicked off the day by participating in a parade from the changing area to the library. Once on station at the library everyone posed for a massive group photo, which was only the first because of the sheer number of costumers arriving throughout the day.

Later in the day the Mercs acted as aggressors during the 501st Legion's "Clone Trooper Training Academy" where the vicious bounty hunters shot children with nerf guns as they tried to sneak the Death Star plans past them. The Mercs also got a chance to meet Orli Shoshan, who played Jedi Master Shaak Ti. At the end of the event, the Mercs were invited to the 501st Legion's after party that was sponsored by the Joliet Museum. A lot of pictures were taken, many new friends made, and the bonds between Nexu Clan and their surrounding garrisons made stronger.
