Mission Objective: To bring a little Star Wars fun and excitement to the children.

Invasion Report: The third annual Hillsides Orphanage Star Wars Day started with the children in the facility watching "Star Wars: The Clone Wars". Shortly after the movie ended, the children were thrilled to see many of their favorite Star Wars characters come marching through the door of the auditorium. There were Sith, Stormtroopers, a Snowtrooper, a TIE Pilot, Jedi, even a Jawa and Tusken, but all paled in comparison when Boba Fett, the most notorius bounty hunter in the galaxy walked in leading a contigent of Mandalorian Mercs with him. The Mandalorians far out numbered any other class of characters at the event. The children made the rounds posing for pics and asking the characters for autographs. After the meet and greet with the characters, the children were given a lightsaber battle show by the Southern California Saber Guild where a masked Sith Lord named Darth Vader revealed his plans to take over the facility. The children were pleased and shouts erupted when Vader was defeated.

It was one of those rare events where everything is done for the sole purpose of bringing a little fun and hapiness to children's lives. Each of the costuming clubs came together to create a memorable experience for all the children who attended.
