Mercs "Free Comic Book Day and May the 4th" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To promote Free Comic Book Day and May the 4th at local comic stores.

Invasion Report: Members of the BVC invaded a local comic book store in support of May the 4th. Due to the BVC’s recent growth in members, this event was the BVC’s first official invasion west of Tallahassee. Members mingled with customers and even joined forces with a representative of the 501st’s Parjai Squad. On the request of store owner, members also patrolled the streets outside the stores, to bring attention to May the 4th and the on-going festivities. In true Northwest Florida fashion, the invasion was low-key and easy-going, but a great time was had by all. The BVC has made its first official impression along the Emerald Coast and the invitation has been extended for the BVC to attend next year’s May the 4th activities in the same location.
