Mercs "Free Comic Book Day and May the 4th" Invasion Debriefing

Mission Objective: To promote Free Comic Book Day and May the 4th at local comic book stores.

Members of the BVC invaded a local comic book store in support of May the 4th; because of the BVC’s recent growth in members, this event was the BVC’s first official invasion west of Tallahassee. Members mingled with customers and patrolled the streets outside the store, to bring attention to May the 4th and the on-going festivities. Members also assisted in recruiting new membership to the BVC, by inviting three forum members meet and greet with them, in order to ask questions about costume requirements and MMCC membership. In true Northwest Florida fashion, the invasion was low-key and easy-going, but a great time was had by all. The BVC has now made its first official impression along the Emerald Coast, which is the farthest geographical region of the clan!
