Mercs "ConNooga 2013" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "ConNooga 2013" - Chattanooga, TN (USA)
Date: March 1-3, 2013
Clans Involved: Bes'uliik Clan and Blue Moon Clan
Mission Objective: Provide a show of force at ConNooga, recruit new members, and raise money for charities.

Invasion Report: Members of Bes'uliik and Blue Moon Clans as well as other Official Members provided an opportunity for convention goers to participate in a Jail and Bail fundraiser to support Little Warriors International and ConNooga's annual charity; they raised nearly $300 for the combined charities. Bes'uliik Clan also hosted a Kids Track event where over 50 children painted miniature Boba Fett helmets to take home and display.

The Mercs also hosted a "Boba Fett and Beyond" panel and provided escort services for Honorary Members Temuera Morrison and Daniel Logan. The Mercs also participated in ConNooga's first costume parade, leading the 1/4-mile long parade and were the largest group of costumers present. The eight Official Members posed for numerous photos over the three days of the convention and were successful in raising awareness about the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club as well as exceeding expectations in regards to the anticipated fundraising goal.
