Mercs "Military Appreciation Picnic" Invasion Debriefing

Invasion Location: "Military Appreciation Picnic" - Elmendorf Airbase, AK (USA)

Mission Objective: To show thanks and appreciation to the military service members

Invasion Report: The Mandalorian Mercs and the 501st invaded the military appreciation picnic that is hosted by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce. Attendance looked to be up from last year, we were all quite busy; I'm sure we've secured another spot for next year. We interacted with innumerable kids, fans and parents; answered numerous questions, and took many photos.

An email from the base planning committee:
"Just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work. The city stated it was the best participation/event they've seen yet. The numbers from the Chamber of Commerce are estimated 8K people served, 12K hotdogs and hamburgers prepped, 75 city volunteers, and more than 50 base volunteers. We coordinated 2 bands, around 20 static displays, $17.5K in prize give-a-ways, the base and city volunteers, 5 bouncy castles, a petting zoo with pony rides, 3 state officials, the "World's Strongest Man", 2 K9 demos, and a partridge in a pear tree."
